Hi, Jimmy, Dr. Fung and Megan, I loved this podcast! I have been fasting and feasting (keto) and it’s working really well! I’ve added muscle during the whole thing!

Dr Fung did say that cancer cells only need glucose. But, I have heard ( from Dr. Seyfried, Miriam Kalamian, Dr. Scheck) that cancer also likes glutamine.

I’ve also heard it will happy to use other nutrients. They’re sneaky little creatures.

Is there a way to go after those other nutrients, to with the IDM, fasting?

    Thanks! Y’all are amazing!

Always learning something listening to your podcasts. Thanks!

Regarding cancer and fasting/keto diet, NOT ALL cancers have a higher metabolic rate than normal cells. We know this because not all cancers are diagnosed or monitored with a PET scan (radioactive glucose).
