    Hi, I’ve heard Dr. Phinney say he is against fasting and says it does cause muscle loss. But I’m wondering if that is because of his emphasis on training athletes and not on helping people who are insulin resistant and overweight who have plenty of fat stores on their bodies. Is this the difference? I’m only a few lbs from the weight I do not want to go below. I think it was a one day IF that broke my one year plateau. I also did not work out the past week. I mostly do weight training and very little cardio.
